AUP

The position that i take on this statement is that cell phones do belong on campuses. Look at what our technology group came up with this semester. Polls Everywhere is a great website that you can implement cell phones into the class room, this activity keeps the students engaged in the classroom instruction. Yes, their might be some extra texting but it was the same back in the day when we would write notes. The teacher will just have to regulate it, but because Polls everywhere is such a fun engaging activity tell them that you will just do book work if caught texting. This generation is so technologically savy that we need to keep up with them in order to engage them in the classrooms. If 70 to 90% of students have a cell phone use it as a tool! Find a way to have fun with them, get use to it the cell phones are attached to their hips anyways.
