In this Acceptable Use Poilcy, a California school district has limited cell phone use to nearly nothing. Yes, they allow students to carry cell phones, btu the phones must be turned off at all times. The AUP even goes as far to say that cell phones lef ton vibrate will be taken. I disagree with this AUP. It's time for school districts to keep up with the technology curve and outlawing cell phones and other electronic devices is simply out of date.
