in this website, Pinellas High School administrators reconsider the penalties that come with cell phone use in the school. A series of events led parents and faculty to this new way of thinking. I have highlighted a portion of the website that expresses a parents desire to always have the ability to reach his daughter. I agree that cell phones could cause distractions in a classroom, but I also believe that the schools' stringent rules evoke rebellion. its' human nature; however hard you push, you will be pushed back, equally. if school did not make mountains out of mole hills, then the desire to use cell phones in class will diminish. - Derrick mason
